Parking at Condado Beach Apartments
PARKING A RENTAL CAR
If you wish to rent a car and park it overnight, we provide you with a Certificate of Offering to park
across the street from our building at the Marriott Hotel Parkade for $18.00 a night (24-hour period with
multiple entrance privileges) or $120.00 a month for self parking privileges. The Hotel Management
reserves the right to change the rate at any time.
The Break-even day for parking is 6.5 days, so most people renting a parking spot at the Marriott will opt
for a monthly rate for any stay over 7 days.
The monthly rate of $120 is a cheaper rate to park your car 7 days or more.
A Certificate of Offering is included with the rental contract that is emailed to you. You will be asked to print
it off and take it with you to San Juan so you can present it to the people at the Parkade Office within the
Marriott Hotel to purchase the number of days of parking you wish to have.
You can obtain a Certificate now by clicking the link above, printing the document, and taking it with you
to San Juan.
RENTING A CAR
Most people choose to take a cab from the airport to the Apartment and then decide which days they wish
to rent a car. Our guests tend to spend the first few days of their stay at the beach, walking about
checking out restaurants and casinos and exploring the beach, swimming and getting a tan. Then they
spend a day or two in Old San Juan where the cruise ships dock, getting there by cab which is about $10
each way.
We normally walk along the beach and roads following the beach to Old San Juan (3 miles) and walk about
all day shopping and eating etc. We then take a cab home to rest our weary legs. Our guests tend to plan
a few trips around the island of Puerto Rico, perhaps spending a day up in the Rain Forest and Fajardo,
and another day over to Ponce and the Western side of the Island.
To rent a car, walk over to one of the three car rentals in the Condado Beach area and book a car for the
days you want to travel about. Then take the Certificate of Offering and purchase a parking spot at the
Marriott Hotel for the nights you will have the car.
The closest car rental agency is at the Marriott Hotel next door to your building, and there is AVIS Car
Rental at 1050 Ashford Avenue in Condado. This is two blocks down Ashford Avenue from the Apartment.

It is fairly simple to get to Old San Juan by bus or taxi:
It is 3 miles down the beach and we generally walk there and wander around then take a cab home for
about $12. Otherwise you can take a bus there and back ($0.75 exact fare each way) and the bus stop is
2 blocks south of our apartment building.
